4 Fun Ways to Gift Chocolate

What’s the only thing better than ordering yourself a box of Tangle Chocolate? Getting to make someone’s day by surprising them with a box! During this time of social isolation, showing loved ones how important they are to you is more important than ever, and one of the best ways to do this can be with the gift of chocolate. Here are four unexpected ways to share chocolate with people who make your days better.

  1. It has perhaps never been harder or more thankless to be a postal worker. To say thank you to the people who do so much for all of us (including make it possible for Tangle Chocolate to deliver across the country), give your delivery person the gift of some chocolate! If it’s hot where you are, leave a thank you note in your mailbox directing them to the cool spot where their chocolate gift awaits. Think of other underappreciated folks in your life, too — maybe the Grub Hub or Postmates driver, the person who stands outside disinfecting all of the grocery carts and reminding us of the rules, anyone connected with devising back-to-school plans.
  2. Celebrate the little things. Did you know that every month has multiple chocolate-related holidays? National S’mores Day is coming up on August 10, so surprise your family with a s’mores party. Set up a s’more buffet with gourmet marshmallows, sliced strawberries, peanut butter, and Tangle Chocolate THINS to make this a holiday to remember.
  3. There’s no need to wait for Easter to roll around before you plan a fun chocolate hunt for your family. If you’re quarantining with kids (or even if you’re quarantining with adults, because who doesn’t want surprise chocolate?) you can hide chocolate around the house for them to hunt down. You could let it be a free-for-all search, or make it a bit more interesting by writing clues to lead them to the chocolate hiding spots.
  4. Random acts of kindness go so much further in the age of coronavirus, so put together a social distance care package for a friend. How fun would it be to wake up to a basket of goodies on your front porch? The only thing more fun than receiving a basket would be to leave it as a gift for someone else to find and enjoy. A personalized gift basket with chocolate, a framed picture of a shared memory, and a card with a list of things you’re excited to do once it’s safe to do so. What better way to remind someone that you care about them and are thinking of them?
